Electro-hydraulic actuators from Dabeb-Elram are manufactured in the company’s 1 500 m² facility in Daleside, Meyerton. The distributorship acquired in December 2016 enables the Group to distribute Dabeb-Elram’s DEA range of electro-hydraulic actuators across sub-Saharan Africa.
The quality of this actuator range is self-proven by the longevity of the product and brand – 50 years in 2019.
In addition to the above-mentioned sectors and applications, Dabeb-Elram electro-hydraulic actuators are also used in the steelworks, waterworks, sewage treatment, marine and offshore industries.
All actuator components, including cylinder, motor, pump, pipework and valves, are enclosed in a self-contained steel casing protecting them from external tampering or contaminants and making them ideal for use in harsh to extremely harsh operating environments. Versatile and flexible performance in terms of speed and force for the entire DEA range of electro-hydraulic actuators is enabled with a pressure relief and flow control valve.
Dabeb-Elram DEA electro-hydraulic actuators are self-contained and weather-proof, providing a vibration-free operation. All parts are replaceable.
VIEW PRODUCTThe electric motor is close coupled to a gear pump, which is connected to a hydraulic control block. This block has 2 adjustable pressure relief valves and 2 adjustable flow screws, independent of each other, allowing the flexibility in terms of thrust and speed. The control block pipework connects to a hydraulic cylinder. All of these items, with the exception of the electric motor, are encased in a steel tube which acts as the oil reservoir. The unit is completely sealed from the outside by using a series of “IO” rings, which prevent contamination.
The actuators’ plug-n-play functionality reduces the need for client commissioning time and their compact design allows for a very close mounting solution to practically any linear application.
All electro-hydraulic actuators in this range are accompanied with a one year OEM warranty, which is upheld by Bosch Rexroth Africa. Dabeb-Elram also offers full repair and refurbishment of its electro-hydraulic actuators, regardless of their age or condition.
The DEA range of actuators has become a unique, universally accepted and versatile electro-hydraulic product. The range is available from Bosch Rexroth Africa’s network of over 35 Group branches and 20 strategic distributors and sales partners throughout Africa.
