Our linear bushings are amongst the most popular linear guide systems in the world! These high-performance, economical and easy-to-install linear guides are incorporated into machines or automation solutions as well as many applications encountered in everyday life, e.g. train door opening systems. Because of their special characteristics, linear bushings from Bosch Rexroth provide simplified and low-maintenance solutions, particularly in applications involving extreme conditions.

Selecting the right guide bearing sizes and the optimum motor/gear combination are essential steps to optimise costs and guarantee a long service life for linear guides. Thanks to the Linear Motion Designer, Bosch Rexroth now offers calculation software for linear guides that will save you time and money during the planning, design, and construction phases of your system.
After entering the process data for dynamics, masses and forces, the software automatically calculates the service life of the individual guide bearings. Up to 16 guide bearings may be combined. The program checks the selected size and, if necessary, suggests axes with higher load-carrying capacities. The system also tells you the best way to combine the motor and gear to control your application.
