Bosch Rexroth protection screens ideal for reducing Covid-19 risk
Protective screens are becoming an important part of our toolkit for reducing the spread of Covid-19, forming an effective safety barrier between people at high-traffic points of sale and service counters across the country.
Bosch Rexroth protective screens have been used in a number of safety-related applications in South Africa for decades, but are now seeing increased demand from retail and service sectors.
That stands to reason as the screens offer a high-quality, modular solution that can be easily adapted to any workspace requirement.
They consist of the modular, durable and versatile Rexroth aluminium profiles, forming the base of a screen that can be either acrylic, toughened glass or polycarbonate material.
Screens are additionally anodised treated, which creates a high resistance to chemicals that are used to clean and sanitise surfaces.
The profiles are assembled with T-slotted joining grooves, and do not require welding, and so can be fixed or mobile, U- or L-shaped, in the exact size our customers require. The system’s modularity and adaptability enables the easy upgrade from an L-shaped to a U-shaped enclosure in minimal time.
“The adaptability means these screens can be used in retail outlets, from pharmacies to grocery stores – practically any place to help provide distance between employees and shoppers,” says Jonathan Narainsamy, Product Manager at Tectra Automation. “This reduces the risk of transmitting the coronavirus through respiratory droplets in work environments or businesses that deal directly with the public.”
Tectra Automation has over 20 years’ experience in safety guarding technology, providing safety solutions that are adaptable, durable and reliable.
Tectra Automation's protective aluminium profiles are used to prevent Covid-19 spread by creating a physical barrier between staff and customers when making a purchase.
Applicable in various settings, from the grocery to the office environment, the protective device allows people to easily adhere to social distancing etiquette.
