HAW Makes a Mark at the 50th NAMPO Show
Hydraulics & Automation Warehouse (HAW) recently exhibited at the agricultural tradeshow NAMPO from 16 to 19 May, showcasing a range of the company’s product range on display.
The main focus of HAW’s stand was the SALAMI range of hydraulic gear pumps, motors and control valves. Of special focus was the VDP08 load sensing valve. The stand also featured OMT accessories and filters, hoses, hose fittings and adapters from Intertraco, M+S steering valves and motors as well as a selection of tie rod cylinders.
“NAMPO is the largest regional agricultural exhibition where we can introduce our products to potential customers, as well as connect with existing customers to enhance awareness as to new technologies and additions to our catalogue,” explains Wynand Kellerman, General Manager, Hydraulic & Automation Warehouse.
With over 75 000 people attending the show – the most ever – NAMPO is an important platform for HAW in connecting with an industry that contributes between 20-25% of the company’s market segment. It provides an important forum for identifying new opportunities and innovative technology solutions.
“Local agricultural equipment manufacturers are implementing more advanced hydraulic technology in their machinery to be more competitive and allow farmers across the region to increase the productivity of their farms,” Kellerman continues. “HAW has the technologies, high-quality product ranges as well as the industry know-how and expertise to provide application-specific, cost-effective hydraulic solutions that can enhance the performance of these machines.”
The Hytec Group has been associated with NAMPO for the last 4 years, with the first stand largely dedicated to Hytec Engineering’s hydraulic cylinders and cylinder kits. The Group’s strategy at the tradeshow has since evolved to a showcase beyond just hydraulic cylinder technology, with Bosch Rexroth mobile drive and control equipment from Hytec(Afripower) and now HAW becoming the major Group contributor at the event.
